Internet Explorer 8.0 will be supported in 2009 release
By TechInformer on 5/9/2008 11:34 AM

Please advise your employees not to install IE 8.0 on their work or home computers if they use them to access TSC web programs like Absence Entry.   The 2008 Web software release will not be certified on Internet Explorer 8.0.   Version 8 has only been released in BETA,  meaning there will be many changed as bugs and functionality flaws are addressed.   In addition,  Version 8 is significantly different from Version 7 so our software will require programming changes to work with it.    We will certify our 2009 Web software release to run on IE 8.0.

Quotes for Development Work
By TechInformer on 11/1/2007 8:15 AM

It is our company policy that all small development projects are handled as ‘fixed price’.  This means that whatever price we provide to you in the quote is the amount that you will be invoiced when the project is completed – regardless of how much time the project actually ends up taking.  This serves as price-protection to you.  If our estimating is inaccurate or we encounter unforeseen difficulties during the project which cause the project to take more time than anticipated, we still only invoice you the originally quoted amount.  For fixed price quotes, it is our company policy to give you a description of the deliverable along with a fixed (guaranteed) price.

SSL Certificate Renewal Service
By TechInformer on 11/1/2007 8:15 AM

TSC's SSL Certificate Service eliminates the complex and sometimes troublesome process of implementing SSL certificates on your TSC Application Web Server.  For $800 TSC will purchase and install your certificate every 3 years prior to the expiration of the current certificate.

Please note that TSC does not monitor the certificate expiration dates for customers not subscribing to this service.  If your certificate expires,  your staff will be presented with a Windows Certificate Expired message but they can still click the acknowledgement and continue on to the TSC Web Portal login screen.
